The guest accommodation consists of 5 ensuite rooms (1 double and 4 twin), in their own garden surrounded by olive trees and delightful sea views. Each room has been sensitively designed with its own colours, aspect and ambience, and together - Selene, Helios, Astra, Gaia and Okeanos - comprise The Spheres.
Each room contains the following items:
Fully equipped kitchenette, with refrigerator, 2 ringed electric ceramic hob, stainless steel sink, electric kettle, toaster, and large cupboard space
Built-in wardrobe with drawers
Safety deposit box
Air-conditioning and ceiling fan
Wall mounted flat screen satellite TV, with multi-media facility and DVD player
Dining table and 2 chairs, plus an easy chair
Bistro table and 2 chairs on the terrace
Ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower, which has been carefully decorated in simple Cycladic style to reflect the individual theme of the room
Insect screen and shutters on all windows
Selene, the largest unit, has a separate dining area and large double bed. Helios, Astra, Gaia and Okeanos each has 2 continental size single beds. There are also 2 chair beds, plus a day bed in the lounge.
Each of the Spheres looks out onto its own private terrace, with a unique view of the wild countryside and hills beyond.
Owing to the layout, design and versatile spaces available, the whole of The Spheres is very suitable for group bookings of up to 12 people and can be utilised for many types of group activity and retreats. It is also available for individual room bookings.
There is a large communal area which comprises a large lounge, and PAN, an extensive open covered pergola suitable for group activities, lectures/classes and meetings. PAN opens out onto the grounds of the Estate which extend up the hill behind The Spheres. There is also a communal kitchen with large oven and laundry facilities, plus a car parking area. Access is up a dirt road and it is an 10 minute walk down to the sea and the swimming bay of Artimos.
2019 - The garden and grounds around The Spheres continue to evolve, with many new plants, including herbs, native Mediterranean shrubs and flowers, fruit trees and pine trees naturally maturing. The are several seating areas for quiet contemplation and solitude, which have the advantage of the stunning views. The Spheres have been sensitively transformed from the ruins of agricultural barns, into the splendid accommodation they are now.
Please note: in order to maintain a peaceful secluded environment, as natural as possible, the Estate has a policy of not allowing children and those under 18 years, except by special arrangement.
Also and unfortunately, there is no disabled access and it is not suitable for those with poor mobility.
